Part 1 of "Wayward", Hosea 1:1-2:1. Sin is betrayal, not just rule-breaking.
This series is a survey of the life of Christ. The theme will be to learn conversations that Jesus had with various people, and we will try to go in chronological order from His early life until after His death.
View Conversations Jesus HadSometimes there are thoughts that we'd love to share with you, but they really don't fit anywhere in particular. So we have a blog for just such items.
We also have a large archive of all of our previous sermon series. Feel free to have a listen.
We maintain a few shared playlists on Apple Music & Spotify. They serve two purposes: To allow you to learn songs before we sing them, and to listen to a wider array of songs that we have sung corporately for the life of Good News.

Facebook Twitter Join a Community GroupThe stewardship of our finances is a tremendous—and often overlooked—area of our lives where we can faithfully proclaim the gospel. Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously.
Give Your MoneyJust as we can donate from our finances, we can also donate our time. In this way you can help serve people inside, and outside, the church body. We have many ways in which you can serve:
Part 1 of "Wayward", Hosea 1:1-2:1. Sin is betrayal, not just rule-breaking.
Part 2 of "Wayward" Hosea 2:2-2:23. When God's people abandon Him, He may discipline them. He may use bad circumstances to bring people back to Him, but He also forgives, resets, and restores.
Part 3 of "Wayward" Hosea 3:1-5. In this sermon, we learn about how Hosea redeemed his wife and how God redeems us.
Part 4 of "Wayward" Hosea 4:1-6:3. Sin is serious and must be dealt with. And repentance must come before restoration.
Part 5 of Wayward Hosea 6:9 and Hosea 4:1-8. Spiritual leaders have a responsibility to care for God's people that comes with a greater accountability.
Part 6 of "Wayward" Hosea 6:4-6. God desires our love.
Part 7 of "Wayward" Hosea 7:8-12 & 8:4-6. There is a problem with trusting in others rather than God.
Part 8 of "Wayward" Hosea 13:14 and 6:2 can remind us of Easter. Easter is important because the One who promises to bring us back to life, came back to life.
The people of Hosea's day had a problem listening to God. Thousands of years have past, is this still a problem today? Hosea 9 tells us broken relationships, hardships and sufferings are all part of the consequences for not listening to God.
Part 10 of "Wayward", Hosea 10:1-2 & 13-15. Often, wealth comes at a cost.
Part 11 of "Wayward" Hosea 11:1-14:9. The conclusion of our series on Hosea.
