The 2014 Christmas Eve Message at Good News Church.
This series is a survey of the life of Christ. The theme will be to learn conversations that Jesus had with various people, and we will try to go in chronological order from His early life until after His death.
View Conversations Jesus HadSometimes there are thoughts that we'd love to share with you, but they really don't fit anywhere in particular. So we have a blog for just such items.
We also have a large archive of all of our previous sermon series. Feel free to have a listen.
We maintain a few shared playlists on Apple Music & Spotify. They serve two purposes: To allow you to learn songs before we sing them, and to listen to a wider array of songs that we have sung corporately for the life of Good News.

Giving strengthens our devotion to Christ and frees us to live open-handedly with the gifts God gives us. We trust in Him and His provision instead of our perceived self-sufficiency. As people of faith, we give faithfully and generously.

The 2014 Christmas Eve Message at Good News Church.
To summarize this sermon, we could make this one statement. We're worse than we think we are, and Christ is better than we can imagine.
Christianity is not just about God & I, it's also about God & us (the church). We'll look at select passages in Acts and what it says about life together with other Christians.
This stand-alone sermon was preached for the Royal Family Kids Camp Commissioning Service held at Good News Church in 2014. This sermon covers the proclamation ministries that were given to Isaiah and to the followers of Jesus in the book of Acts and encourages us to take hope in the fact that we are part of a mission that will ultimately be successful as God is spreading his good news all over the world.
There are differing seasons of our lives. Some we have control of, and some we don't. However we always have control over one thing in particular, our response to those seasons.
This sermon focuses on Micah 4:1-7, and what life should look like if we begin with the end in mind.
This was the Father's Day sermon at Good News Church for 2014.
This was the Mother's Day sermon at Good News Church for 2014 on 2 Timothy 1:1-5 & 3:14-17.
Easter Sunday 2014.
This sermon covers Palm Sunday from two perspectives, God's and ours.
Jesus Christ accomplished the single greatest thing, and Jesus wants you to "come and see".
In this sermon we learn the connection between grace (being set free from sin without having to merit God's favor) and obedience (surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ). Mario believes the concept is illustrated in Exodus 21:1-6 and taught in many places in the New Testament.
This stand-alone sermon was preached in order to recruit volunteers for Royal Family Kids Camp of Marion County in 2014. But the concepts covered in these verses are broader than that. They are about Christian compassion, ministering to children, and working together as the body of Christ.
We all need community. It's a very important aspect of our lives that we don't often prioritize. In this sermon we look at what the Bible says about community and why it's important for us all.
This stand-alone sermon on Philippians 1:1-14 was preached on the first week of 2014. This sermon is on the importance of serving God in whatever situation we happen to find ourselves stuck in.
