“UVC radiation is a known disinfectant for air, water, and nonporous surfaces. UVC radiation had effectively been used for decades to reduce the spread of bacteria, such as tuberculosis. For this reason, UVC lamps are often called ‘germicidal’ lamps.”
We hope this will help us to have cleaner air circulating in our buildings, and have heard that it should even help keep the cooling coils clean of biofilm build up.
