Here are some of the things we learned at Good News this year:
- Why it is important to put God above all else.
- How necessary it is that our relationship with God affect the relationships we have with other people.
- How important it is to reach out to people who do not yet know God.
- An overview of what the Bible says about marriage: purpose, unity, permanence, and sex.
- Christmas is about how God sent us a Savior.
- How the church works and why we should be involved.
- What the Bible says about Lord’s Supper and Baptism.
- A little bit about what the Bible says regarding parents & children.
- The Gospel, and the two main symbols connected to it: the cross and the empty tomb.
- The book of Galatians (and so many lessons that are contained within it.)
- The book of Esther (and the important point that God is there looking out for us, often in ordinary ways, even when it looks like He isn’t.)
